Népsziget. (People’s Island) Some call it Szúnyogsziget – Mosquito Island. It is a place in Budapest by the Danube, where we found our creative home. On this page, and later with some related blog posts, we would like to introduce events, places, people on the island. (actually, this is an peninsula)
I’m planning to show the bars at the Danube, ‘Wasser’ and ‘Kabin’ – and the new one, called ‘Perem’.
Old shipyard
Some pictures of the place around us. It is an industrial environment. The shipyard is still operating, they say the crane we have here is the biggest on the Danube, so boats are coming for repair all over from Europe.
We are all inspired by this environment. Everything is used, worn out, but you can still feel the magic. Every tool, building, unknown instrument has a unique atmosphere, and this atmosphere inspires us.

StreetArt at Népsziget
I’m also into street art, so this part will be updated regularly, as I will know more and more about the places around. These first gallery is about an abandoned shipyard hall, currently on sale, and totally empty. Looks amazing BTW.
